The P6KE36A is a 600W peak pulse power unidirectional TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It features a clamping voltage of 64.3V and can handle a peak pulse current of 62A (8/20µs waveform). The device offers fast response time of less than 1.0ps, ESD protection of 30kV air and 30kV contact per IEC 61000-4-2, and EFT protection for data lines per IEC 61000-4-4. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55 to 175°C and has a steady state power dissipation of 5.0W. The P6KE36A is housed in a DO-204AC (DO-15) axial leaded through-hole package with matte tin finish. It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen free, and meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. Typical applications include I/O interfaces, VCC bus, telecom, industrial, and consumer electronic circuits.
