The P6KE250CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 213V and a maximum clamping voltage of 442V at a peak pulse current of 9A (8/20µs waveform). The device can dissipate 600W of peak pulse power under a 10/1000µs waveform, making it suitable for general-purpose surge protection.
This TVS diode offers a fast response time of less than 1ps from 0V to breakdown voltage, ensuring rapid clamping of transients. It is housed in a DO-204AC (DO-15) axial lead package with matte tin lead-free plating, compatible with through-hole mounting. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C, with a steady-state power dissipation of 5W on an infinite heat sink.
