The P6KE220C is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode from Littelfuse designed for transient voltage suppression. It delivers a peak pulse power of 600W (10/1000μs waveform) with a maximum clamping voltage of 344.4V. The device features an extremely fast response time of less than 1.0 ps from 0V to breakdown voltage, ensuring rapid protection against voltage transients.
It provides ESD protection of 30kV (Air) and 30kV (Contact) per IEC 61000-4-2, making it suitable for sensitive electronic interfaces. The diode operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C and offers typical thermal resistance of 20°C/W (junction-to-lead) and 75°C/W (junction-to-ambient). Steady-state power dissipation is 5.0W when mounted on an infinite heat sink.
The P6KE220C is packaged in a DO-204AC (DO-15) through-hole package with axial leads, compatible with high-temperature reflow soldering up to 260°C. It is RoHS3, REACH unaffected, and halogen free compliant. This TVS diode is ideal for general-purpose circuit protection in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronic applications.
