The P6KE15CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 12.8V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 14.3V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 27.2V at a peak pulse current of 147A (8/20µs waveform). The device can handle 600W of peak pulse power under a 10/1000µs waveform. It is suitable for general-purpose applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The P6KE15CA is housed in a DO-204AC (DO-15) axial leaded package and is through-hole mountable. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. The device is RoHS3 compliant, halogen-free, and lead-free with matte tin plating. Fast response time of less than 1ps from 0V to breakdown voltage ensures rapid clamping of transients.
