The Littelfuse P6KE15A is a 600W unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 12.8V and a maximum clamping voltage of 21.2V at a peak pulse current of 28.8A (10/1000µs waveform).
The device utilizes a glass passivated chip junction in a DO-204AC (DO-15) through-hole package with axial leads. It offers a fast response time of typically less than 1ps from 0V to breakdown voltage. The P6KE15A is rated for an operating junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C and has a typical thermal resistance of 20°C/W from junction to lead.
