The Littelfuse P6KE13A is a 600W transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 11.1V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 12.4V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 18.2V at a peak pulse current of 33.5A (10/1000μs waveform). The device offers a fast response time typically less than 1.0 ps from 0V to breakdown voltage.
This unidirectional TVS diode is suitable for general-purpose applications, including I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. It is not designed for power line protection. The part is through-hole mountable in a DO-204AC (DO-15) axial package, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to 175°C.
The P6KE13A is built with a glass passivated chip junction and supports high temperature reflow soldering (260°C/30s). Its thermal resistance is 20°C/W junction-to-lead and 75°C/W junction-to-ambient. The device is RoHS and Halogen-free compliant per datasheet.
