The P6KE12CA is a bidirectional Zener TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) diode manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from voltage transients by clamping at 21.7V maximum. The device features a reverse standoff voltage of 10.2V and can handle peak pulse power up to 600W. It is rated for a peak pulse current of 184A under the 8/20µs waveform. The diode has a capacitance of 1150pF at 1MHz. Power line protection is not supported. The P6KE12CA is packaged in a through-hole DO-15 (DO-204AC) axial leaded package, suitable for general-purpose transient protection applications. It is mounted via through-hole soldering and is RoHS3 compliant with MSL Level 1 unlimited.
