The P6KE100CA is a bidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse Inc. designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It utilizes a Zener breakdown mechanism with a reverse standoff voltage of 85.5V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 95V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 137V at 4.5A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform). The device can handle 600W peak pulse power and has a fast response time of less than 1ps from 0V to breakdown voltage.
This TVS diode is ideal for general-purpose transient protection in a wide range of applications including I/O interfaces, VCC bus circuits, telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. It features a glass passivated chip junction for reliability and is compliant with RoHS3 and halogen-free standards.
Packaged in a DO-204AC (DO-15) axial leaded through-hole case, the P6KE100CA operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. Maximum steady-state power dissipation is 5W with an infinite heat sink at lead temperature 75°C. Thermal resistance is 20°C/W junction-to-lead and 75°C/W junction-to-ambient.
