The P600D is a standard recovery rectifier diode from Diotec Semiconductor, part of the P600 series. It is designed for general purpose rectification in power supplies and 50/60 Hz mains applications.
With a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 200V and an average forward rectified current (IFAV) of 6A, it can handle typical rectification loads. The forward voltage is typically 1.0V at 5A and maximum 1.1V at 6A. It can withstand peak forward surge currents up to 360A (50Hz) and 400A (60Hz). The reverse recovery time is typically 1500 ns, classifying it as standard recovery.
The diode operates over a junction temperature range of -50°C to 175°C. It is mounted through hole in a P600 axial package, with a weight of approximately 1.7g. The case material is UL 94V-0 rated. Packaging is in ammo packs of 500 pieces.
The P600D is RoHS3 compliant (exemption 7a), REACH unaffected, and conflict minerals compliant. It is suitable for 50/60 Hz mains rectification, power supplies, and polarity protection circuits. For automotive applications, AEC-Q101 qualified variants are available with -Q suffix.
