The Vishay Dale P4SMA6.8CA-E3/61 is a surface-mount TVS diode from the P4SMA series, designed for transient voltage suppression in sensitive electronics. It features a 400W peak pulse power capability with a 10/1000 μs waveform, and a 300W rating above 91V. The device has a stand-off voltage of 5.8V and a clamping voltage of 10.5V, with a peak pulse current rating of 38.1A.
This TVS diode is ideal for protecting ICs, MOSFETs, and signal lines from voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting. Its glass-passivated chip junction ensures excellent clamping capability and a very fast response time. The component is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) package, suitable for automated placement.
