The P4SMA6.8A is a unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse Inc., designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 5.8V and a maximum clamping voltage of 10.5V at a peak pulse current of 39A (10/1000µs waveform). The device can handle 400W of peak pulse power. It is suitable for general purpose applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The diode is housed in a surface mount DO-214AC (SMA) package and operates over a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C. It is RoHS compliant and halogen-free.
