The P4SMA440CA is a bidirectional Zener TVS diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 376 V and a clamping voltage of 602 V at a peak pulse current of 700 mA (10/1000 µs waveform). The device can handle 400 W of peak pulse power dissipation under the same waveform conditions.
This TVS diode offers a fast response time of less than 1.0 ps from 0 V to breakdown voltage minimum. It is rated for ESD protection up to 30 kV (air and contact) per IEC 61000-4-2. The operating junction temperature range is -65°C to 150°C, with storage from -65°C to 175°C.
The P4SMA440CA is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package and is RoHS3 compliant, halogen-free, and MSL Level 1. The plastic package is rated UL 94 V-0 for flammability.
