The Vishay Dale P4SMA36CA-E3/61 is a surface mount Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed for general purpose applications. It features a 400W peak pulse power capability with a 10/1000 μs waveform and a clamping voltage of 49.9V at a peak current of 8A.
This TVS diode operates within a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C (TJ) and is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) package, making it ideal for automated placement. It is suitable for protecting sensitive electronics against voltage transients induced by inductive load switching and lighting.
