The P4SMA350CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse Inc., part of the P4SMA series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. The device offers a reverse standoff voltage of 300V and a clamping voltage of 482V, with a peak pulse power dissipation of 400W (10/1000μs waveform).
The diode features a fast response time of less than 1ps and can handle a peak pulse current of 0.9A (900mA). It is supplied in a surface-mount DO-214AC (SMA) package, suitable for compact PCB layouts. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 150°C, and the storage temperature range is -65°C to 175°C. The device is bidirectional, with one bidirectional channel.
Typical applications include protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The P4SMA350CA is RoHS3 compliant, halogen-free, and meets MSL level 1 requirements. The termination finish is matte tin, lead-free plated.
