The P4SMA27A is a 400W peak pulse power transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for protecting sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients. It offers a reverse standoff voltage of 23.1V and a nominal breakdown voltage of 27V, clamping transient events to 37.5V while handling a peak pulse current of 10.9A.
The device features fast response time of less than 1ps from 0V to breakdown voltage, making it suitable for high-speed applications. It is unidirectional and built with Zener technology, ideal for DC bus and I/O port protection.
The P4SMA27A is housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) surface mount package with matte tin lead-free finish. It operates over a wide temperature range from -65°C to +150°C and is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and MSL Level 1.
