The P4KE75CA is a bidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse, part of the P4KE series designed for protecting sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 64.1V and a clamping voltage of 103V. With a peak pulse power dissipation of 400W (10/1000μs waveform) and a peak pulse current of 4A, it provides robust transient suppression.
The device utilizes Zener technology with a glass passivated chip junction in a DO-204AL (DO-41) through-hole package, suitable for axial lead mounting. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. The fast response time, typically less than 1.0ps, ensures rapid clamping of transients.
Key features include IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact), EFT protection per IEC 61000-4-4, and low incremental surge resistance. Typical leakage current is ≤1µA for breakdown voltages above 12.6V. The part is intended for general purpose applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus, telecom, industrial, and consumer electronics.
