The P4KE62A is a 400W unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning, ESD, and EFT. It features a maximum reverse standoff voltage of 53V and a clamping voltage of 85V at a peak pulse current of 4.8A (10/1000µs waveform).
The device uses a Zener technology with a glass passivated chip junction in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded package, suitable for through-hole mounting. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C and is intended for general purpose applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
