The P4KE6.8A is a 400W peak pulse power transient voltage suppression diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning, ESD, and EFT events. It features a reverse stand-off voltage of 5.8V, a breakdown voltage of 6.8V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 10.5V at a peak pulse current of 39A (10/1000μs waveform).
The device uses a glass passivated Zener chip junction in a through-hole DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded package. It offers fast response time of less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown voltage, and is rated for operating temperatures from -55°C to 175°C. The P4KE6.8A is RoHS3 compliant, Pb-free (E3), and halogen free.
