The P4KE47A is a unidirectional Zener transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse Inc. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transients (EFT), and lightning.
This TVS diode features a reverse standoff voltage of 40.2V and a breakdown voltage of 47V. The clamping voltage is 64.8V, with a maximum peak pulse current of 6.3A. It delivers 400W peak pulse power dissipation for a 10/1000μs waveform. The device has a fast response time of less than 1.0ps.
The P4KE47A is housed in a through-hole DO-204AL (DO-41) package with axial leads. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C and is suitable for general-purpose applications in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. The diode is glass passivated for reliability and has a low incremental surge resistance.
