The P4KE400A is a 400W peak pulse power TVS diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning, ESD, and EFT. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 342V and a maximum clamping voltage of 548V at a peak pulse current of 750mA (10/1000µs waveform). The device is unidirectional with a single channel.
This TVS diode offers a fast response time of less than 1ps from 0V to breakdown voltage, making it suitable for high-speed data line protection. It has a glass passivated chip junction in a DO-41 package and is rated for operation from -55°C to 175°C. The steady state power dissipation is 1.5W on an infinite heat sink at 75°C lead temperature.
The P4KE400A is mounted through hole in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded package. It is suitable for general purpose applications including I/O interface protection, VCC bus protection, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
