The P4KE220A is a 400W transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse's P4KE series, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning, ESD, and EFT events. It features a reverse standoff voltage (V_RWM) of 185V and a maximum clamping voltage of 328V at the peak pulse current of 1.3A (10/1000μs waveform).
The device offers a fast response time of less than 1.0 ps from 0V to the breakdown voltage, ensuring rapid clamping of transient events. It is unidirectional with a single die, and provides a peak forward surge current capability of 60A (8.3ms half sine wave).
