The P4KE200A is a 400W unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning, ESD, and EFT events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 171V and a clamping voltage of 274V at a peak pulse current of 1.51A (10/1000µs waveform).
The device offers a fast response time of less than 1ps from 0V to the breakdown voltage, ensuring rapid clamping of overvoltage events. It is rated for a peak pulse power dissipation of 400W (single die) and a steady state power dissipation of 1.5W on an infinite heat sink at 75°C lead temperature. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C.
The P4KE200A is packaged in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded package, suitable for through-hole mounting. It is ideal for general purpose protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
The reverse standoff voltage is 171V.
The clamping voltage is 274V.
The peak pulse current is 1.51A under a 10/1000µs waveform.
The P4KE200A is available in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded through-hole package.
