The Littelfuse P4KE18CA is a 400W bidirectional TVS diode designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients, EFT, ESD, and lightning surges. Key electrical parameters include a reverse standoff voltage of 15.3V, breakdown voltage range of 17.1V to 18.9V, clamping voltage of 25.5V at 16.1A peak pulse current (10/1000µs waveform). The device features a glass passivated chip junction for reliability, fast response time typically less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown, and excellent clamping capability.
This diode is bidirecional, single-channel, and supports general-purpose applications such as I/O interface protection, VCC bus protection, and vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial ICT equipment, and consumer electronics. It meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection up to 30kV (air/contact) and IEC 61000-4-4 EFT requirements.
Packaged in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded through-hole package, the P4KE18CA can operate over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C. It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen free, and manufactured by Littelfuse Inc.
