The P4KE18A is a 400W unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 15.3V, a minimum breakdown voltage of 17.1V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 25.5V at a peak pulse current of 16.1A (10/1000µs waveform).
With a response time of less than 1.0 picosecond, this diode provides fast clamping for EFT, ESD, and induced lightning transients. It is rated for operating temperatures from -55°C to 175°C and offers a typical thermal resistance of 60°C/W junction-to-lead and 100°C/W junction-to-ambient. The device is glass passivated and housed in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded package for through-hole mounting.
This TVS diode is suitable for general-purpose applications including I/O interfaces, VCC bus protection, telecom, computer, industrial ICT, and consumer electronics. It meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD (30kV air/contact) and IEC 61000-4-4 EFT standards.
The reverse standoff voltage is 15.3V.
The minimum breakdown voltage is 17.1V.
The maximum clamping voltage is 25.5V at 16.1A peak pulse current.
The peak pulse current is 16.1A for a 10/1000µs waveform.
It is available in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded package for through-hole mounting.
The peak pulse power rating is 400W for a 10/1000µs waveform.
The typical response time is less than 1.0 picosecond from 0V to breakdown voltage.
