The P4KE16A is a unidirectional TVS diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 13.6V and a maximum clamping voltage of 22.5V at a peak pulse current of 18.2A (10/1000µs waveform). The device can handle 400W of peak pulse power and has a fast response time of less than 1.0 ps from 0V to breakdown.
This TVS diode is housed in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded through-hole package, suitable for automated insertion. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C and has a typical reverse leakage current of 1 µA at standoff voltage. The part is RoHS3 compliant and halogen free.
