The P4KE15 is a 400W transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transients (EFT), and induced lightning surges. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 12.8V and a breakdown voltage of 22.26V.
This device offers a peak pulse current rating of 19.3A (10/1000μs waveform) and an extremely fast response time of less than 1ps from 0V to breakdown. It is rated for IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection up to 30kV air and 30kV contact. The diode is unidirectional with a low typical reverse leakage current of ≤1μA.
Packaged in a through-hole DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded package, the P4KE15 operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to +175°C. It is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and uses Pb-free E3 terminal finish with UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. Typical applications include I/O interface protection, VCC bus protection, and general-purpose circuit protection in telecom, industrial, and consumer electronics.
