The P2600EA is a SIDACtor® protection thyristor from Littelfuse, Inc., designed to protect baseband equipment such as modems, line cards, CPE, and DSL from damaging overvoltage transients. It features a minimum off-state voltage (VDRM) of 220 V at 5 µA, and a maximum breakover voltage (VS) of 300 V at 100 V/µs. The holding current is 150 mA minimum, and the switching current is 800 mA minimum. On-state current is rated at 2.2 A maximum with a maximum on-state voltage of 4 V at 2.2 A. Capacitance is specified between 20 pF and 35 pF at 1 MHz with 2 V bias. The component is housed in a TO-226-2, TO-92-2 (TO-226AC) package with through-hole mounting, and the supplier device package is TO-92-3. This series provides low voltage overshoot, low on-state voltage, and low capacitance, and does not degrade surge capability after multiple surge events within limits. It enables compliance with global regulatory standards including TIA-968-A/B, ITU K.20/21, GR 1089, IEC 61000-4-5, and YD/T 1082/993/950.
