The Littelfuse P1553AAL is a SIDACtor® Balanced Series protection thyristor designed to safeguard baseband equipment from damaging overvoltage transients. This device provides balanced overvoltage protection, preventing longitudinal to differential conversion, and offers a single-port, through-hole solution.
Key electrical characteristics include a rated repetitive off-state voltage (VDRM) of 130V at 5µA, a breakdown voltage (VS) of 130V at 100V/µs, and a maximum on-state voltage (VT) of 8V at 2.2A. It can handle a peak pulse current of 45A and has a holding current (IH) of 150mA. The device operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
Packaged in a TO-220 Modified (TO-220-2) configuration, the P1553AAL is suitable for through-hole mounting.
