The P1300ECL is a SIDACtor protection thyristor from Littelfuse designed for overvoltage protection in baseband equipment such as modems, line cards, CPE, and DSL. It features a repetitive peak off-state voltage (VDRM) of 120V minimum and a switching voltage (VS) of 160V minimum at 100V/µs. The holding current (IH) is 150mA minimum, switching current (IS) is 800mA minimum, and test current (IT) is 2.2A nominal. On-state voltage (VT) is 4V maximum at 2.2A. Capacitance ranges from 25pF to 60pF at 1MHz with 2V bias.
The device is housed in a through-hole TO-226-2, TO-92-2 (TO-226AC) package with a supplier device package of TO-92-3. It is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL rating of 1 (Unlimited). The SIDACtor series provides low voltage overshoot, low on-state voltage, and does not degrade surge capability after multiple surge events within limits. It fails short circuit when surged in excess of ratings.
This component is suitable for applications requiring compliance with global standards such as TIA-968-A, TIA-968-B, ITU K.20/21, GR 1089, IEC 61000-4-5, and YD/T standards. The through-hole package allows for robust mounting in PCB designs.
