The P1100SDLRP is a SIDACtor thyristor from Littelfuse Inc., designed for overvoltage transient protection in hostile environments. It is part of the Pxxx0SD series, offering high surge current capability.
This device features a 90V off-state voltage (V_DRM) and a 130V breakover voltage (V_BO). It can handle surge currents up to 200A for a 10/1000 µs waveform and 1000A for a 2/10 µs waveform. The on-state current is rated at 2.2A maximum with a 4V on-state voltage. Capacitance ranges from 75pF to 115pF at 1MHz.
The SIDACtor fails short circuit when surged in excess of ratings, providing a fail-safe mode. It aids compliance with surge requirements such as IEC 61000-4-5 when used with an appropriate OVP clamp device. The device is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and Pb-free E3.
The P1100SDLRP is supplied in a surface mount DO-214AA (SMB) package. It operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to +150°C and has a thermal resistance of 90°C/W.
