The Littelfuse P1100SARP is a bidirectional SIDACtor thyristor designed for overvoltage protection in telecommunications equipment. It is commonly used in modems, line cards, fax machines, and customer premises equipment (CPE) to meet regulatory standards such as GR 1089, ITU K.20/K.21/K.45, IEC 60950, UL 60950, and TIA-968-A.
The device features a minimum off-state voltage (VDRM) of 90V and a typical switching voltage (VS) of 130V. On-state voltage (VT) is 4V maximum, with an on-state current (IT) of 2.2A typical. Holding current (IH) is at least 150mA. Off-state capacitance is typically 40pF at 1 MHz with 2V bias.
Surge current capabilities include a peak pulse current (IPP) of 150A for 2x10 µs and 8x20 µs waveforms, 90A for 10x160 µs, 50A for 10x560 µs, and 45A for 10x1000 µs. The device can withstand a surge current (ITSM) of 20A at 60 Hz and a critical rate of rise of current (di/dt) of 500 A/µs.
The P1100SARP operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to +150°C and is housed in a surface-mount DO-214AA (SMB) package. Thermal resistance from junction to ambient is typically 90°C/W.
