The P0640SDLRP is a SIDACtor® thyristor from Littelfuse Inc., part of the Pxxx0SD series. It is designed for overvoltage protection in hostile environments, offering a high surge current capability of 200A (10/1000μs) and 1000A (2/10μs). The device has a minimum off-state voltage (VDRM) of 58V at 5μA and a minimum breakover voltage (VS) of 77V at 100V/μs. Holding current is 50mA minimum, switching current 800mA minimum, and maximum on-state voltage is 4V at 2.2A. Capacitance measures between 100pF and 160pF at 1MHz with 2V bias.
The thyristor operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to 150°C and can be stored from -65°C to 150°C. Thermal resistance from junction to ambient is 90°C/W. The component is packaged in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package, supplied in tape and reel. It is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and has Pb-free E3 terminations with tin finish.
