P0640SALRP

The P0640SALRP is a SIDACtor protection thyristor from Littelfuse, part of the Pxxx0SxL series. It is designed to protect baseband equipment such as modems, line cards, CPE, and DSL equipment from damaging overvoltage transients. The device offers a breakover voltage of 77V (min/max) and an off-state voltage of 58V (minimum). Holding current is 150mA minimum, and switching current is 800mA maximum. The on-state current rating is 2.2A with a maximum on-state voltage of 4V. Capacitance is low, ranging from 15pF to 40pF at 1MHz and 2V bias. The thyristor can handle peak pulse currents up to 45A (8/20µs) and peak surge currents of 20A (50/60Hz). The device is surface mount in a DO-214AA (SMB) package. It is RoHS compliant, halogen-free, and Pb-free (E3). The SIDACtor technology ensures low voltage overshoot and low on-state voltage, and the component does not degrade after multiple surge events within its limits. The part is recognized to UL 497B as an Isolated Loop Circuit Protector and meets various global standards including TIA-968, ITU K.20/21, GR1089, and IEC 61000-4-5.
