OVM7692-RAAA

The OVM7692-RAAA from OmniVision Technologies Inc. is a feature-rich VGA CameraCubeChip image sensor built on the OmniPixel3-HS architecture. It delivers a 640 x 480 resolution with a pixel size of 1.75µm x 1.75µm, operating at up to 30 frames per second.

This sensor is designed for ultra-compact applications, featuring an optical format of 1/13-inch. It supports both DVP parallel and MIPI serial interfaces, along with SCCB control. Key features include industry-leading low-light sensitivity, automatic exposure control (AEC), automatic gain control (AGC), automatic luminance detection, and automatic black level calibration (ABLC).

Additional image quality controls include color saturation, hue, gamma, sharpness, lens correction, defective pixel canceling, and noise canceling. The OVM7692-RAAA also supports horizontal and vertical sub-sampling, mirror, flip, scaling, and windowing functions. It operates on a 2.8V power supply and includes a built-in 1.5V regulator for the sensor core, offering low power consumption.

The sensor comes in a 25-CSP package with dimensions of 2.82mm x 3.18mm x 2.6mm. It is designed to withstand multiple reflows, meeting stringent handset manufacturer requirements. This lead-free component is suitable for cellular and picture phone applications.
