OT1 Description

Short technical summary and product information.

The Gould OT-1 pressure transmitter is precision engineered for low pressure HVAC, compressor, and pump applications where performance and durability are critical. It features a durable thin film sensor technology and environmental protection to IP67/NEMA 4X.

Available pressure ranges include 100 psi, 150 psi, 250 psi, 300 psi, and 500 psi, with compound ranges also available. The transmitter supports multiple signal outputs such as 4-20 mA (2-wire), 1-6 V (3-wire), 1-5 V (3-wire), 0-10 V (3-wire), and 0.5-4.5 V ratiometric, with corresponding power supply requirements.

The all-welded thin film measuring cell eliminates the need for additional soft sealing materials. The thin film sensor uses sputtered technology that provides excellent long-term stability in applications producing frequent pressure cycles. The glass-reinforced PBT plastic case has been used in under hood automotive applications for many years, and a metal sleeve inside provides excellent EMI protection to 100V/m.

The OT-1 is specifically designed for OEM applications in the HVAC, compressor, and automotive industries. It is manufactured on a fully automated production line providing consistent quality and highly competitive pricing in large quantities. Custom modifications are available for large quantity requirements.

OT1 FAQs

7 frequently asked questions generated from this part’s specifications.
What is the operating voltage of the OT1?

The power supply range depends on the output version: 8-36 V DC for 4-20 mA, 9-36 V DC for 1-6 V, 8-36 V DC for 1-5 V, 14-36 V DC for 0-10 V, and 5.5 V DC for ratiometric outputs.

What is the case material of the OT1?

The case is made of fiberglass-reinforced polybutylene terephthalate (PBT).

What is the permissible medium temperature range?

-40 °C to +25 °C.

What pressure ranges are available for the OT1?

The OT1 is available in 100, 150, 250, 300, and 500 psi ranges, as well as compound ranges of -30 inHg/100psi and -30 inHg/200psi.

What output options does the OT1 offer?

Outputs include 4-20 mA (2-wire), 1-6 V, 1-5 V, 0-10 V (3-wire), and 0.5-4.5 V ratiometric.

What accuracy does the OT1 provide?

Accuracy is <0.5% of span (BFSL) for pressure ranges of 150 psi and above, and <1.0% for ranges below 150 psi. Terminal-method accuracy is <1.0%, or <2.0% below 150 psi.

What materials contact the media?

Wetted parts are stainless steel.
