The NUP4301MR6T1 from On Semiconductor is a MicroIntegration device designed to protect sensitive components from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and other electrical transients. This TVS diode array offers low capacitance, with a maximum of 1.5 pF between I/O lines, ensuring data line speed and integrity.
Key electrical specifications include a 70V reverse voltage, 200mA forward current, and a peak forward surge current of 500mAdc. It provides protection according to JEDEC standards JESD22 (Machine Model Class C, Human Body Model Class 3B) and IEC61000-4-2 Level 4 (8.0 kV contact, 15 kV air).
This device is suitable for applications such as USB 1.1 and 2.0 data line protection, T1/E1 and T3/E3 secondary IC protection, HDSL, IDSL, video line protection, microcontroller input protection, base stations, and I2C bus protection. It is packaged in an SC-74, SOT-457 surface mount package and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C (TJ).
The NUP4301MR6T1 integrates protection for four data lines in a single package, reducing component count and board space. It allows transients to be directed to either the positive side or to the ground.
