The NUP4004M5T1G is a 5-pin bi-directional transient suppressor array designed for applications requiring transient overvoltage protection capability. It provides bi-directional protection for four separate lines using a single TSOP-5 package, making it ideal for space-constrained designs. The device features a reverse working voltage of 5V (max), a breakdown voltage range of 7.0V to 8.0V, and a maximum reverse leakage current of 1000 nA at 5V.
This diode array delivers robust ESD protection, meeting IEC 61000-4-2 standards with 30kV air and 30kV contact discharge ratings. It also provides HBM ESD protection up to 16kV and Machine Model protection up to 0.4kV. Typical capacitance is 32 pF at 3V, suitable for high-speed data line protection.
The NUP4004M5T1G is housed in a Pb-free TSOP-5 package and supports surface mount assembly. It is suitable for general-purpose applications including computers, printers, cell phones, and medical equipment where board space is a premium.
