The NUP3105LT1G is a dual-line bidirectional TVS diode from On Semiconductor, specifically designed to protect CAN transceivers in 24V automotive and industrial systems against ESD and other transient voltage events. It provides 350W peak pulse power per line (8/20µs waveform) with a reverse working voltage of 32V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 35.6V (at 1mA). Clamping voltage is 66V maximum at 8A (8/20µs) and 59V at 5A. The device features ultra-low reverse leakage current (<100 nA) and a low capacitance of 30pF (at 0V, 1MHz) to support high-speed CAN data rates. ESD protection exceeds IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 (30kV contact discharge) and IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT) 50A at 5/50ns. The NUP3105LT1G is housed in a compact surface-mount SOT-23-3 package (also known as TO-236-3, SC-59) and is RoHS compliant, Pb-free, and halogen-free.
