The NUP2105LT1G is a dual bidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for ESD and transient voltage protection, particularly for CAN bus networks. Manufactured by ON Semiconductor, this device integrates two bidirectional channels in a single SOT-23-3 package.
Key electrical characteristics include a reverse working voltage of 24 V, a breakdown voltage range of 26.2 V to 32 V, and clamping voltages of 40 V at 5 A and 44 V at 8 A (8/20 µs waveform). The peak pulse power dissipation is 350 W per line. It features very low reverse leakage current of 1.5 nA typical (100 nA maximum) and a typical capacitance of 30 pF at 1 MHz, making it suitable for high-speed data lines.
The device meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection at 30 kV contact, IEC 61000-4-4 EFT at 40 A, and IEC 61000-4-5 lightning surge at 8 A. It is RoHS compliant, Pb-Free, and Halogen Free, with a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C. The surface-mount SOT-23-3 package enables compact PCB layouts for industrial and automotive applications.
