The NTSV30120CTG is a Trench-based Schottky rectifier array from On Semiconductor, designed for high efficiency in power conversion applications. It contains two Schottky diodes in a common cathode configuration, each rated for 15A average forward current (30A per device). The device features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 120V and a non-repetitive peak surge current rating of 100A.
Key electrical characteristics include a very low forward voltage of typically 0.522V at 5A and 125°C, and a maximum forward voltage of 1.18V at 15A and 25°C. The fast switching speed and low thermal resistance (junction-to-case 2.0°C/W) make it suitable for high-frequency operation. The operating junction temperature range is -40°C to 150°C.
Typical applications include switching power supplies, DC-DC converters, freewheeling and OR-ing diodes, and reverse battery protection. The fine lithography trench technology provides exceptional temperature stability and low power loss.
The device is housed in a TO-220-3 through-hole package with solderable leads. It is RoHS compliant, Pb-Free, and Halogen Free per the datasheet. The case material is epoxy, molded, meeting UL 94-0 flammability rating.
