The NTST40120CTG is a very low forward voltage trench-based Schottky rectifier array from On Semiconductor. It contains two Schottky diodes in a common cathode configuration, each capable of handling 20A of average rectified current (40A total per device) with a maximum DC blocking voltage of 120V.
This device features exceptionally low forward voltage, with typical values as low as 0.43V at 5A and 125°C, and a maximum forward voltage of 0.91V at 20A. It offers fast switching with exceptional temperature stability, low power loss, and high surge capability (250A nonrepetitive peak surge current). The reverse leakage current is a maximum of 500µA at rated voltage.
The NTST40120CTG is housed in a through-hole TO-220-3 package with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. It is suitable for switching power supplies, high-frequency DC-DC converters, freewheeling and OR-ing diodes, and reverse battery protection applications.
