The NTSB30100S-1G is a trench-based Schottky rectifier diode from ON Semiconductor, designed for high-efficiency power conversion. It offers a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 100V and an average rectified forward current of 30A when case temperature is held at 105°C. The forward voltage is exceptionally low: typical 0.84V at 30A and 25°C, dropping to 0.70V at 125°C, which reduces power losses and improves thermal performance.
This device handles high surge currents up to 250A nonrepetitive (60Hz half-sine wave) and exhibits fast switching with excellent temperature stability. The junction-to-case thermal resistance is 2.0°C/W maximum, enabling effective heat dissipation. Typical applications include switching power supplies for adapters, ATX and flat-panel displays; high-frequency DC-DC converters; freewheeling and OR-ing diodes; and reverse battery protection.
The diode is housed in a through-hole I2PAK (TO-262) package with 3 leads, Pb-free finish, and weighs 1.9 grams. It is supplied in rails of 50 pieces. The operating junction temperature range spans -40°C to +150°C, with storage from -65°C to +175°C.
