It features a low forward voltage of 0.482V typical at 3A and 25°C, and 0.4V at 125°C, reducing power loss. With a maximum reverse voltage of 45V and average rectified forward current of 3A, it supports peak repetitive forward current up to 6A and non-repetitive surge current up to 100A. The fast recovery time of ≤500ns makes it suitable for high-frequency applications.

 

Typical applications include switching power supplies, high frequency DC-DC converters, freewheeling and OR-ing diodes, reverse battery protection, and instrumentation. The device is housed in a surface mount SMA-FL package (DO-221AC) with flat leads, rated for operating temperatures from -65°C to 150°C. Thermal resistance is 25°C/W junction-to-lead and 90°C/W junction-to-ambient on standard FR4 board.

 

The NTSAF345T3G is lead-free, halogen-free/BFR-free, and RoHS3 compliant. It meets MSL 1 requirements for unlimited floor life. Supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 5000 pieces.
