The NTE6004 is a general purpose rectifier diode designed for high voltage and high current applications. With a maximum reverse voltage (VRRM) of 1600V and an average rectified current (Io) of 40A, it is suitable for power supply rectification and industrial power conversion. The diode has a forward voltage of 1.3V at 40A and a standard recovery time greater than 500ns, making it appropriate for line frequency applications where fast switching is not required.
