The NTE5987 is a standard recovery rectifier diode designed for general purpose power rectification. It has a reverse voltage rating of 200V and an average rectified current of 40A. The forward voltage is 1.3V maximum at 40A. The diode features standard recovery speed greater than 500ns, making it suitable for applications where fast switching is not required.
The device is housed in a DO-5 stud mount package, which provides robust mechanical mounting and efficient heat dissipation. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 190°C, allowing use in harsh environments.
