The NTE5903 is a standard recovery rectifier diode designed for general purpose power rectification applications. It features a maximum reverse voltage (VRRM) of 500V and an average rectified current of 16A. The forward voltage is specified at 1.23V when conducting 50A, indicating a typical forward drop suitable for medium-current circuits. This diode exhibits standard recovery characteristics, with a reverse recovery time greater than 500ns at over 200mA, making it appropriate for line-frequency (50/60 Hz) rectification where fast switching is not required.
