The NTE5883 is a standard recovery rectifier diode designed for high current rectification in industrial power supplies and general purpose AC-to-DC conversion circuits. It features a maximum reverse voltage rating of 600V and an average forward current rating of 12A, with a forward voltage of 1.26V at 38A test condition. The device uses standard rectifier technology offering recovery times greater than 500ns and forward current capacity exceeding 200mA.
Packaged in a DO-203AA (DO-4) stud mount case, the NTE5883 provides robust thermal performance with an operating temperature range of -65°C to 175°C. The stud mount configuration enables direct chassis mounting for efficient heat dissipation in high power applications.
