The NTE587 is a standard technology fast recovery rectifier diode from NTE Electronics, designed for general purpose rectification applications. With a maximum reverse voltage of 200V and average rectified current of 1A, it is suitable for low-to-medium power supply circuits.
The diode exhibits a typical forward voltage of 950 mV at 1A, and a reverse recovery time of 35 ns, enabling efficient switching in high-frequency rectification. It also features a low junction capacitance of 53 pF at 4V and 1 MHz.
The NTE587 is offered in a through-hole DO-41 package (also supplied as DO-204AL), with axial leads for easy insertion. It operates over a wide temperature range from -65°C to 150°C, making it robust for industrial environments.
