The NTE5802 is a general purpose standard recovery rectifier diode designed for through-hole mounting. It features a maximum reverse voltage of 200V and an average rectified current of 3A. The forward voltage is 1.2V at 9.4A test condition, and the reverse recovery time is standard (>500ns).
The diode is packaged in a DO-27 axial leaded case, also compatible with DO-201AA. It operates over a wide temperature range from -65°C to 175°C. Standard recovery characteristics make it suitable for low-frequency rectification applications.
With its rugged construction and high surge capability, the NTE5802 is commonly used in power supplies, converters, and battery chargers. The through-hole mounting allows for easy manual assembly and prototyping.
