The NSVR0340HT1G is a Schottky Barrier Diode from On Semiconductor, optimized for low forward voltage drop and low leakage current. It is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 40V and a continuous forward current of 250mA. The diode features a very low forward voltage drop of 415 mV typical at 100 mA and 590 mV maximum at 200 mA.
The device has a low reverse leakage current of 0.4 µA typical at 25V, and a fast reverse recovery time of 5 ns. It also features low capacitance of 6 pF at 10V, 1MHz, making it suitable for high-frequency applications. The power dissipation is 160 mW with minimum trace, and thermal resistance is 740 °C/W junction-to-ambient.
The diode is offered in a surface-mount SOD-323 package (SC-76), supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 units per reel. It is Pb-Free, Halogen Free/BFR Free, and RoHS Compliant. The device is also available with the NSV prefix for automotive applications requiring AEC-Q101 qualification.
Typical applications include LCD and keypad backlighting, camera photo flash, buck and boost DC-DC converters, reverse voltage and current protection, and clamping and protection circuits in portable devices such as mobile handsets, MP3 players, digital cameras, and GPS units.
